The Acting Director-General of the Department of Water and Sanitation has published his intention to amend the General Authorisation contained in GNR 1199 of 18 December 2009 in respect of the water uses in terms of section 21(c) and (i) of the National Water Act 36 of 1998 pertaining to impeding or diverting the flow of water in a watercourse and altering the beds, banks, course or characteristics of a watercourse respectively.
Members of the public are invited to submit comments within 60 days of publication of this notice (i.e. 26 January 2016).
